Meet Sara
She is the Owner /Principal Designer and Team Leader at Custom House Interiors & Co.
In 2005, she founded Custom House Interiors & Co., an Interior Design firm with its own general contractors. With a functional and sophisticated approach, Custom House caters to discerning clients across the Durham and York Regions as well a specialty in cottage country.
Sara’s unique approach to design ensures that client’s individual needs are met, and their day-to-day lives are improved with well planned, functional spaces that are meaningful and beautiful to live in.
Teaching at Seneca College, leading The Staging Gap, a business focused on helping others build successful business in the field, and taking on co-op students, Sara is always looking for ways to elevate the industry and mentor those who are up and coming.
Oh…and if you are wondering about the Pineapples, they are a symbol of welcome, housewarming and hospitality.
Meet Kristina
With her 20 years experience in design, Kristina has vast working experience in the Retail, Residential and Manufacturing sectors which has allowed her to develop strong time management, problem solving and customer service skills.
She has had the pleasure of providing design support on a number of HGTV Design shows such as ‘Marriage Under Construction’, ‘Love it or List it’, ‘Game of Homes’ and ‘Back in Time for Dinner’.
As a naturally organized and detail oriented person, Kristina approaches every project with a well thought out game plan. Although her outside the box thinking allows her to problem solve any challenges that may arise. Combined with Kristina’s keen eye for colour, savvy style sense and passion for design she brings a unique flair to every project.
